2026–2027 Lesson Program

One program. Two ways to commit.

Year-Round and School Year enrollment both provide structured weekly instruction through the Leg Up curriculum. The difference is the length of commitment, monthly tuition, and approach to Summer continuity.

Choose your commitment

Which ongoing program fits your family?

The instructional program remains the same. Choose based on how long you are ready to commit and how your family wants to handle Summer participation and class continuity.

School Year Program

Best for a shorter initial commitment: families who want to begin with a six-month enrollment term.

$260 / month

6-month initial term · $1,560 minimum tuition

  • Six-month initial enrollment commitment
  • Continues after the initial term until proper notice
  • Full Summer continuation or FLEX-7 option
  • Summer participation affects Fall class continuity
  • $300 fee if the initial term ends early
  • $65 annual registration

Planning to continue beyond six months? YRP provides the lowest monthly rate and the simplest year-round continuity. Need a shorter starting commitment? SYP begins with six months, then remains ongoing until proper notice is given.

How the Quarter calendar works

Riders attend the same scheduled class each week. Every Quarter contains ten instructional dates followed by a designated makeup period.

Pony Pals & introductory individualized instruction

Quarter Enrollment is not a third alternative to YRP or SYP. Riders placed in Pony Pals or one-on-one introductory instruction begin through a fixed-term Quarter designed for foundational development and placement evaluation.

Placement before enrollment

How your rider’s pathway is determined

Families do not need to determine eligibility alone. The trial lesson and placement process allow Leg Up to recommend the appropriate instructional starting point.

1

Tell us about your rider

Share age, experience, goals, and scheduling needs through the enrollment inquiry.

2

Complete a trial lesson

A $75 trial lesson helps us evaluate readiness, class fit, and the appropriate starting pathway.

3

Receive placement guidance

When a suitable opening is available, we explain the recommended program and enrollment terms.

Start with the right conversation.

Tell us about your rider. We’ll help determine the appropriate instructional pathway, discuss suitable class openings, and schedule a trial lesson.
