Leg Up Equestrian is a family owned and operated Horsemanship School, serving Charlotte NC, Fort Mill SC, and the surrounding areas. Since 1997, we have earned a solid reputation in the horse community, and maintain one of the areas strongest youth equestrian programs. While we have grown significantly over the years, you'll still find the same genuine warmth and close-knit community our students, families, and friends have come to expect. At Leg Up, teaching is our passion - and it shows! We foster a supportive learning environment - down-to-earth, approachable. Regardless of age or riding experience, our guiding principles are the same: Safety, Fun, Learning, Personal Growth.

We teach a comprehensive Horsemanship program including Hunter-Jumper and English Equitation, with an emphasis on introducing students to Combined Training (CT): Dressage, Stadium Jumping, and Cross-Country. In addition to our regular lesson program, Leg Up offers two in-house school shows, open to ALL ages and riding levels, camps, clinics, and a Working Student mentorship program. Leg Up runs on a quarterly system (Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall). Classes are scheduled weekly on same day/time throughout the quarter, with the same instructor. We also include a free make up week at the end of each term in case any classes are missed. [School Calendar]

Program Fees:

$375/quarter (10 week session)
+ $35 registration fee (yearly)

Trial Lessons/ evaluation:

$35 - Trial lessons are provided throughout the week and on weekends to accommodate your schedule. This lesson helps us assess your riding level and structure a program based on your individual needs.
